Why are Videos Stuck on "Loading...?"

Last Updated: Feb 07, 2018 02:31PM EST

If your video is showing a white screen with “Loading…” in the top left corner, then your internet connection might be too slow to play our videos.

We recommend running our Troubleshooter Tool to determine whether you meet all the technical requirements for viewing LearnZillion content. This troubleshooter will determine if you are using a valid device, operating system or browser and it will also check to see if any domains are blocked by your network.

Additionally, we recommend running a speed test to ensure you have sufficient internet speed.

To check your internet speed, please:

  1. Go to speedtest.net

  2. Click “Begin Test”

  3. Wait for test to run (Note: It may take about a minute or two)

  4. Look at your “Download Speed”

  5. The minimum viable speed to stream our videos reliably is about 0.768 Mbps.

Then, reach out to your IT administrator to help you resolve your internet speed problem.

In the meantime, you can also download our mobile app that allows you to download videos, pdfs, powerpoint presentations, and docs on a mobile device when you have a good connection — and view them when you do not.

Note: Image slides cannot be downloaded via our mobile app.
